Lancashire is probably one of the most famous cheese producing areas in the world, giving its name to a variety that has long been a traditional favourite. But Yorkshire and Cumbria can boast some classics too. So we’ve indulged ourselves...on your behalf...and chosen three from each of the counties. Nine cheeses in all, from nine producers of cheese of outstanding character and flavour. We call it the Tri-Counties Cheeseboard...the perfect complement to the Three Fishes ‘Length of Lancashire Cheeseboard’ which won the 2006 Cheeseboard of the Year Award.
