Ribble Valley Inns is delighted to partner local brewer Daniel Thwaites at The Highwayman and have the opportunity to feature their impressive line up of Thwaites ales, along with creating a wine list that would grace many of England’s finest establishments…but without the price tag to match.

At The Highwayman you will find the famous Lancaster Bomber from Thwaites and the new Double Century, created in their 200th year. Both of which are in the style of regional beers from yesteryear…and very popular. Double Century is available in both cask and specially embossed bottles. We are also supporting links with Lancashire with beers like Wainwrights, named after the famous Lake District guide and writer.

The Highwayman also offers a fabulous and unusual range of non-alcoholic drinks.

New at The Highwayman...Beer Bats!

Beer lovers can now enjoy 'Beer Bats' at The Highwayman. The beer bats offer a third of a pint each so you can sample a variety of beers and see which one you prefer.
